• Head

Functions:

• Protects and nourishes all the sense organs
• Is present in tear ducts of the eyes, earwax in ears, mucous membrane and hair of the nose, saliva in the mouth, oil in the skin, in sinuses, and as lubrication in the brain as well¹

Ailments due to its vitiation: 

• Loss of memory
• Retards sensory activities
• Creates general dullness of senses
• Congestion¹
• Sluggishness¹
• Depression¹
• When less than required, it results in drying out and damage of the sense organs.¹
